Enrich your drawings' contents and communicate more clearly using shaded views in CoCreate Annotation. Shaded views capture a picture of your model you can use in your drawings.

CoCreate
Annotation includes three new methods of view calculation:
- Shaded: Includes a picture, but no dimensionable geometry.
- Classic + Shaded and Graphics + Shaded (used in the example above): The picture includes dimensionable geometry.
You can also adjust the resolutions of your Shaded views, or employ Rendering in their creation.
Shaded views can include annotations created with the CoCreate 3D Documentation module.
You can even transfer 3D annotations to views created with the Shaded mode (no dimensionable geometry) by using the 100% Transfer mode, which you can enable in the Default Settings Browser.
Additional information
- Shaded views saved as older versions of CoCreate Modeling files appear as Classic views.
- When using Shaded view calculation mode, Surface-only section views display models as if Surface mode were off.
- Shaded views do not work with Flat views.
- Other settings are fixed in the off position, such as those for hidden edges, vertices, and analysis.
How to
You can create shaded views by:
- Selecting a shaded view Profile option during view creation.
- Changing existing views via the Calc Mode options in the View Properties dialog.
